Lukin Center for Psychotherapy
Inspired by the quiet strength and lasting influence of one individual, the Val Datz Foundation was established in memory of Dr. Lukin’s beloved uncle—someone who, like so many, faced mental health challenges in silence.
This foundation honors not only his memory, but the countless others who carry unseen struggles. It is a tribute to those who may never ask for help, but who still deserve it.
At its heart, the Val Datz Foundation exists to provide access to mental health care when it’s needed most—especially for those who face barriers to treatment.
We believe everyone deserves support that is:
Because we’re all someone to somebody—and everyone is one of us.
Through donations and partnerships, the Val Datz Foundation supports:
Lukin Center is proud to sponsor the NJMOM Baby Expo — a celebration for expectant parents and new moms and dads in New Jersey, offering expert advice, the latest baby gear, educational demos, giveaways, and a relaxing space to connect with community and prepare for parenthood.
Lukin Center proudly sponsors Wonder Girls USA, partnering to support leadership development, scholarships, and educational programming that empowers girls to discover their voice and potential.
Lukin Center is honored to support Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss, a nonprofit providing free year-round grief support for children, teens, and families. Our sponsorship includes events like the Greta’s Run 5K & Memory Walk and Family Night Out at the Patriots Game, which bring the community together to raise awareness and vital funds so no one has to grieve alone.
Mental health challenges do not discriminate. They affect people from all walks of life—quietly, persistently, and often invisibly. Too often, the care that could make a difference feels out of reach.
The Val Datz Foundation is our promise to change that.
Because no one should have to suffer alone. Because support should be there—even when you don’t ask for it. Because mental health care isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity.
The quiet impact of one life can ripple outward and change many more. Through the Val Datz Foundation, that impact continues—helping individuals feel seen, supported, and never alone.
Let’s build a world where no one is left behind.
Start wherever feels right for you
