Lukin Center for Psychotherapy

DBT For Referring Therapists

Flexible DBT solutions to meet your clients where they are.

At Lukin Center, our Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program is designed to complement the valuable work you do, not replace it. Whether you seek to retain your client in your ongoing therapy practice or need a more intensive treatment plan for them, our program offers flexible options to meet their—and your—unique needs.

Why Refer to Lukin Center’s DBT Program?

  • Comprehensive DBT and DBT-Informed Options

We offer both full DBT treatment and DBT-informed options, including skills groups that can augment any therapeutic approach. This allows you to maintain your therapeutic relationship while your client gains additional support they need to reach their goals.

  • Seamless Treatment Plan Integration

Seamless Treatment Plan Integration Our program is designed to work in parallel with ongoing therapy, if you choose to retain your client. We respect the therapeutic rapport you’ve built with your client and work to further their growth without disrupting your relationships.

  • Regular Communication and Updates

When we collaborate on patient care, you’ll get weekly (at minimum) updates from us. We’ll keep you in the loop on what we covered in our sessions, so you can reinforce the same skills and practices in your sessions as well. We believe that collaborative transparency is the key to a cohesive treatment approach, reinforcing the skills that can make a big impact on your client’s progress.

  • Flexible Collaboration and Care Transfer Options

You have options when you refer to us. You can choose to collaborate closely with our team or take a more hands-off approach and resume treatment with your patient after program completion. You can also transfer your client’s care to Lukin Center entirely if they require a more comprehensive approach that goes beyond what your current practice can provide. We’ll do everything we can to make transitions and overlap seamless for you and your patient.
