Justin Marcus, LSW

Justin Marcus, MSW, LSW is a psychotherapist specializing in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, behavioral issues, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children, adolescents, and adults.

Justin’s therapeutic approach is solution-focused and client-centered. He works to incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) strategies in child- and adolescent-friendly ways to facilitate acceptance and create change. His objective is for his clients to leave sessions with hands-on skills and tools to practice in their daily lives in order to see their goals progress.

Through his field work with children and adolescents, Justin became skilled at incorporating play, movement, and DBT. He has received clinical training with families and children, and has extensive experience working at a children’s specialized partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program. He refined his clinical skills at the partial hospital, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care, where he provided group, individual, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

Justin holds a BA from Lafayette College and a Master of Social Work from Monmouth University, where he was a member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society.
