Individual Therapy

Psychologists at the Lukin Center utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help adolescent and adult clients overcome many types of issues associated with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and other conditions.

Each of our clients works one-on-one with a licensed psychologist. First we determine treatment goals and create a personalized treatment plan, then, over time, we work together to address the unique challenges that you or your loved one might face.

Clinicians at the Lukin Center specialize in using CBT techniques to help patients better understand and manage the psychological and physiological effects of depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.

Through personalized treatment, our therapists will examine the sources of your personal challenges, analyze the associated emotions, and identify how you can modify the resulting negative thoughts and behaviors.

Our goal is to help you break free from the debilitating effects of mental health issues and thus improve your quality of life.

We also understand that people face challenges that may seem less intense than those associated with depressive, anxiety, or eating disorders, but nevertheless still negatively impact one’s quality of life. We therefore also welcome individuals from non-clinical populations, including individuals with relationship issues, young professionals, those with medical conditions, as well as patients facing later life issues.

Clinicians at the Lukin Center use a similar personalized approach with non-clinical individuals, focusing on highlighting the connections between one’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, identifying problematic associations and patterns, and creating new, healthier connections to cultivate the individual’s ability to function independently.

We offer free initial consultations as well as sliding scale payment structures. We are an out-of-network provider, but that doesn’t mean insurance won’t necessarily cover some (or all) of your bill. That simply means that we bill our patients directly and they, in turn, receive reimbursement from their insurance provider.

We strive to provide patients with an atmosphere where they can achieve set mental health and personal development milestones, utilizing the latest evidenced-based treatments and therapies.
